27 typescript letters, signed, from Studs Terkel to his agent Flora Roberts, dating from May 29, 1956 to late 1957. Relate to Ms. Roberts' efforts to interest television producers in acquiring the author's scripts. The letters contain references to various projects the author was working on including Banty's laughter, a television adaptation under the pen name David Paul of a Nelson Algren short story, scripts for A little bird came a flying and The enterprise of Herbert Bouc, and the book Giants of American jazz. Accompanied by carbon copies of Flora Roberts' letters in reply to Terkel and others on his behalf.
